Journal Review Process
All papers submitted to the Journal initially go through a preliminary review at the editorial desk to ascertain their suitability for the journal. Papers that do not clear the desk review are rejected, and the author is informed. Papers that clear the initial screening are then checked for plagiarism with the help of available software. Papers with a high plagiarism/similarity index are rejected or sent for revision at this stage. Papers that clear the desk review and have original content are sent to the reviewers for review, as the unfit and irrelevant manuscripts are filtered out of the review process by the Editorial Team.
Peer Review Process
Envision follows a ‘Double Blind’ review process. As per ‘Double Blind’ peer review, neither the author nor the reviewers are aware of each other’s identity. The review process may take 2-3 months for completion. Based on the evaluation by the reviewers, the manuscript may be accepted as such or rejected or accepted, subject to certain revisions. The authors are given time of 15 days to a month to do the revisions. The manuscript may be sent for revision once or twice depending upon the feedback received from the reviewer.
The final acceptance or rejection is communicated only after the authors have submitted the modified manuscript fulfilling the editorial queries and in accordance with the reviewer comments.
